There are many non-profit institutions that provide a step up for humanity. We are proud to sponsor the following charities. They are worthy of your support.
Childhood Humanities and Services
Children’s Home of Kingston
“Beginning in 1876, the Children’s Home of Kingston provided the orphaned children in the Kingston area with food and shelter. Today, the Children’s Home and Grove Street Academy give troubled boys a second chance at life; providing housing, counseling, and education to get them on their feet and realize their dreams.”
St. Jude’s Research Hospital
A cancer hospital for children where no child is denied treatment due to their inability to pay. The hospital is a leader in research for the treatment and prevention of childhood cancers.
American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
Based in NYC since it was founded in 1866, the organization’s mission is to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.
Animal Farm Foundation
Their mission is “To restore the image of the American Pitbull Terrier and protect all dogs from discrimination and cruelty.” Animal Farm educates the public and houses some of the finest family pets for adoption.
Heart of the Catskills
“We continue to care for those who cannot speak or care for themselves. We educate our community, defend the meekest, teach humane treatment for all living creatures, foster a compassion for the weakest, heal the broken trust of the abused, and link the lonely with a four-legged companion. Whether it’s an unwanted German Shepherd or a tabby whose guardian has passed away—no matter what the reason, we take them. And we will until we educate every person in our community that spaying and neutering animals is the only humane thing to do, that owning a pet is a commitment for the lifetime of the pet, that abuse or neglect is unconscionable and illegal. And we will try to match every adoptable pet with a loving home. Every day. As we continue our journey of a Heart.”
Aruba Animal Shelter
This warm, friendly shelter is full of love, concern and is the haven for the homeless, abused and unwanted dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. They work endlessly to protect the animals from government slaughter while awaiting mandates to enact programs to help the animals and protect their welfare.
